Information we collect

• Contact details such as name, email address and telephone number, when provided.
• Billing, order and transaction details. Payment-card data is handled by our payment processor rather than stored directly by SharkSocial.
• Social-media profile links, questionnaires, goals and business information.
• Uploaded videos, images, audio, documents and other customer files.
• IP address, device, browser, cookie and website-usage data.
• Analytics and advertising interaction data when those tools are enabled with required choices.
• Emails and other support communications.

How we use information

We use information to process orders, deliver services, edit authorized content, communicate with customers, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with law, improve our services and—where permitted—measure or market our business.

Payment processing

Payments may be processed by Whop, Adyen or their payment partners. Those providers process payment and transaction data under their own privacy terms. The provider presented at checkout is the provider used for that order.

Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to providers supporting payment processing, hosting, file storage, email, customer support, analytics, advertising, security and professional advice. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell artificial engagement or customer-uploaded content.

Retention

We retain order and transaction records as needed for tax, accounting, fraud and legal obligations, generally up to seven years. Support records are generally retained up to three years. Customer source files and working deliverables are generally deleted or anonymized within 12 months after completion unless a longer period is needed to provide support, meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords or payment-card details by email.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state and whether applicable legal thresholds are met, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain sharing. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request and to receive equal service when exercising a right.

SharkSocial does not presently sell personal information for money. If we use personal information for targeted advertising or “sharing” covered by California law, we will provide an applicable opt-out mechanism and honor recognized Global Privacy Control signals where legally required.

Submitting a request

Email support@mysharksocial.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. Identify the right you wish to exercise and the email connected to your interaction. We may request information needed to verify identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the legally required period.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
